Sustainability Day

The BFH School participated in the Sustainability Day, an event organised by Berne institutions of higher education on 06.04.2017. The university was represented by two booths, NAWI and NOVAnimal.

The NAWI booth provided the students of the NAWI (Sustainable Business) module to present their project posters and provide additional information. Additionally, visitors had the opportunity to test their sustainability awareness against their peers, in a very popular interactive quiz (as can be seen in the first picture below).

The NOVAnimal booth was based upon a project that concerns food waste. At this booth, participants were asked to depict their average food intake of different food groups. This invited them to reflect on their consumption behavior from a sustainable and healthy viewpoint (second picture below).

The participation rate at both booths was very high, and the engagement and contribution of students and visitors was impressive!
